As the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (“MLRO”) for ANEXT Bank (“the Bank”), the individual will have overall responsibility for developing, maintaining and implementing the Bank’s AML, Countering the Financing of Terrorism (“CFT”) and Sanctions Programme. The MLRO will report to the Head of Legal & Compliance, and work closely with the Bank’s senior management to ensure that the Bank’s AML / CFT Programme is robust and in line with regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and confident self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced and dynamic working environment. • Ensure that the AML / CFT and Sanctions function is best-in-class, and continuously keeps abreast with evolving regulatory requirements and expectations. • Provide support / guidance to senior management to ensure that AML / CFT and Sanctions risks are adequately identified, understood and mitigated. • Be the main point of contact for MAS and relevant law enforcement agencies, with regards to AML / CFT matters. Work closely with Regulatory Compliance to ensure that the Bank continues to build its credibility with MAS, in respect of the Bank’s overall AML / CFT posture. • Maintain a strong relationship with the AML functions across both Ant International (“A&I”), given the close collaboration and partnerships within the A&I ecosystem. • Embrace and leverage technology to fight financial crime through the various AML / CFT control verticals viz a viz High-Risk Reviews, Transaction Monitoring, Name Screening, etc, to achieve operational efficiencies. • Collaborate with Client Risk Management and KYC Operations, in ensuring that their processes are aligned with corresponding AML / CFT policies. • Formulate, implement and perform periodic reviews of the AML / CFT and Sanctions Programme, policies and procedures for the Bank. • Ensure that AML / CFT and Sanctions training for employees is adequate, appropriate and effective.
As Head of AML Governance & Issue Management, you will design and lead the issue management and AML governance framework that consolidates identified issues, tracks remediation progress, and ensures prompt resolution. You’ll perform root-cause analysis on policy or control breakdowns, validate remediation plans, and escalate cross-entity conflicts as needed. Your role includes facilitating transparent governance processes and accurately documenting decisions – all in compliance with U.S. BSA-AML regulations. You will report on program health and guide senior leadership through trends, escalations, and root causes. Success requires strong analytical skills and deep compliance acumen in a highly regulated, fast-paced business environment. Main Responsibilities - Manage an issue management framework to capture and consolidate all AML issues across business lines, regulatory findings, audits, and internal reviews. - Track remediation plans end-to-end, ensuring timely execution and proper resolution of control gaps, process failures, or policy deviations. - Perform root-cause analysis for major issues to understand underlying deficiencies and assess adequacy of proposed corrective actions. - Report regularly to senior leadership, BSA Officer on trends, remediation status, and overall program health-providing timely insights on emerging risks and systemic vulnerabilities. - Design and maintain a robust AML governance framework to document decisions, committee outcomes, and process updates – ensuring compliance with US needs, BSA-AML laws and internal policy. Manage cross-entity escalations, remediation conflicts, and implement issues remedial actions – coordinating with cross-functional teams as needed. Ensure governance materials (committee packs, issue memos, remediation trackers) are prepared to a high standard and easily accessible for audit or regulatory inspection. Act as a subject matter expert on issue management and governance for internal audit, examiners, and leadership – supporting reviews and regulatory interactions.
The Head of AML Program Design own the design, implementation, and evolution of comprehensive AML policies, procedures and processes. This role recommends and executes tactical process enhancements to optimize workflows, prioritizing initiatives based on business risk and regulatory requirements. This role establishes standardized AML workflows, monitor control performance through KPIs/KRIs, and drive continuous improvements that embed U.S. BSA-AML standards across global operations. Key to this role is partnering with operations, product, data, and engineering team to integrate AML requirements into new business initiatives. You’ll influence stakeholders at all levels, ensuring U.S. regulatory expectations are clearly understood and appropriately applied worldwide. Success means maintaining robust, repeatable AML controls that scale with innovation while supporting the Head of AML Programs and BSA Officer with program-level governance and risk visibility. Main Responsibilities - Recommend an implement tactical enhancement to AML processes and workflows to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. - Prioritize process optimization projects based on business needs, regulatory changes, and risk impact. - Document and standardize AML workflows- including KYC, transaction monitoring, alert handling, case escalations, and SAR filing. - Monitor and analyze relevant KPIs/KRIs (e.g. volume of alerts, SAR submission timelines, disposition accuracy) to assess process health and identify deficiencies. - Proactively identify gaps in AML controls and process coverage; collaborate on remediation with operations, product and AML Data teams. - Provide AML policy and operational recommendations for new business products and initiatives, ensuring compliance at launch. - Support the development and evolution of company-wide AML policies, ensuring they reflect BSA-AML best practice, oversight findings, and regulatory change. - Prepare materials and analyses to assist the BSA Officer in governance forums, audit preparations, and regulatory reporting.

The successful candidate will lead the KYC Operations team in Singapore, be the accountable service owner for all KYC-related activities, including onboarding, customer outreach, periodic and event trigger review and customer exits.
