1. License Application: Manage the entire licensing process, including documentation, timelines, and stakeholder coordination; Interpret and comply with regulations; Collaborate with internal/external teams to meet regulatory requirements; 2. Go-to-Market Strategy Development & Execution: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive threats; Design GTM strategy: product positioning, pricing, distribution channels, and partnerships with banks/payment providers; Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to launch campaigns and drive adoption; 3. Leadership & Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams (Legal, Product, Marketing, etc.); Build relationships with regulators, industry groups, and partners; Represent the company at conferences and project discussions. Reporting to VN Head of Legal, you will be responsible for the following core duties: (i) advising key stakeholders on a various matters including corporate, investment, licensing, labor, and other regulatory matters of the Company and its group of companies in Vietnam; (ii) provide legal advice on issues and operations relating to the Company’s and its group of companies’ business activities; (iii) ensure that the company and group entities are up to date on the applicable legal requirements and in compliance with the same; (iv) assist mentoring a young and dynamic legal team in Vietnam on day-to-day legal matters and special assignments; (v) assist to implement legal and compliance policies of the Company and its group of companies in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations; (vi) negotiate, discuss, draft and review contracts and other documents for the Company and its group of companies’ business, operations and projects; (vii) provide legal training for business and operations teams on legal processes and relevant legal issues; (viii) assist with operating license applications and regulatory filings, and in dealing with regulators (ix) working closely with regional Legal, Compliance, and Government Affairs teams to lead or participate in various projects, provide legal analysis and value-added input, and guide the business on implementation plans; (x) manage the company’s disputes, litigation, and investigations, including liaising with external counsel; and (xi) other matters and works as assigned and instructed by VN Head of Legal.
The position will be part of a growing and dynamic International Compliance team supporting Ant International’s business, in particular the provision of payments and financial services to corporate customers. We are looking forward to a self-motivated, detail-oriented, team-spirited and adaptable compliance/regulatory professional who is able to take the initiative to work closely with internal business, operations and various functional key-stakeholders in Ant International, as well as externally with regulatory bodies or business partners and associates, to support the achievement of business targets and objectives, and to comply with and fulfill regulatory obligations and expectations. The ideal candidate will be a confident individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and one who is able to demonstrate the ability to effectively and proactively exercise good judgment and partner with the business in a fast-paced environment. • Support Ant International business, working closely with the business team and the other risk teams including Regional Compliance, Legal, AML, Privacy and Risk Management colleagues in PRC and other international markets, to provide solid regulatory advice and solutions. • Work with Regional Compliance colleagues on applications for, and continuing maintenance of, payment institutions, payment systems, wallet and e-money licences, money transfer/ remittance licenses (where applicable) for corporate/SME businesses conducted by Ant International. • Serving as point of contact with internal business stakeholders, while work with regional Compliance and other risk colleagues in driving regulatory engagement for new/revised business initiatives. • Support the agenda of Ant International compliance function, including developing compliance policies and procedures, coordinating with other relevant teams in managing and responding to regulators in relation to AML/Sanctions compliance, data privacy, consumer protection, and providing compliance regulatory risk assessments and program implementation • Identify regulatory compliance risks, escalate potential regulatory and policy breaches and issues to Senior Management. • Conduct internal compliance training from time to time.
Introduction We are looking for a Soft IP counsel to support our international business needs. You will report to a Legal Director and work alongside other legal counsel in the team to support our rapidly growing business internationally. Job Description 1.Responsible for all offshore matters (i.e. outside China) relating to trade mark, domain name and copyright (non-contentious, contentious, commercial and compliance related); 2.Manage the trade mark, domain name and copyright portfolios of the Group, including administration of internal and external management platforms; 3.Responsible for licensing and other commercial transactions (involving the Group’s IP); 4.Handle offshore infringement actions, complaints and disputes (involving the Group’s IP); 5.Co-ordinate with the onshore legal team and various business units in relation to IP protection and management; 6.Provide advice to and co-ordinate with other legal teams and various business units on brand protection and management; 7.Provide training for the legal team and training modules to business units on brand awareness, protection and risk management; 8.Assist the team leader on matters involving brand awareness and protection, and risk management.
1. Support Head of Compliance, Malaysia to establish and implement a robust compliance program to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations in Malaysia and internal policies; 2. Responsible for handling submissions, regulatory enquiries, audits and maintain good working relationship with the regulatory authorities in Malaysia, including coordination for any on-site inspection, if required; 3. Lead and support applications for, and continuing maintenance of, money lending institutions (online, offline, Islamic financing), payment institutions, payment systems, e-wallet licenses and other similar Fintech-related business licenses in Malaysia; 4. Provide sound advice and recommendations to relevant stakeholders on matters pertaining to regulatory and licensing issues for the licensed money lending institutions and payment institutions in Malaysia; 5. Identify and manage regulatory risks, act as a point of escalation for any policy and regulatory breaches to senior management; 6. Help formulate, review and maintain compliance framework, policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws and regulations in Malaysia; 7. Conduct periodic internal compliance trainings and compliance risk assessments.
