Strategic Partnership • Develop financial models for cross-border remittance products, providing insights on pricing strategies, cost optimization, and market expansion; • Monitor FX exposure and liquidity risks, design hedging strategies to improve capital efficiency; • Collaborate with product teams to build end-to-end financial metrics (e.g. CAC, UE), enabling data-driven decision-making. Partner Management • Manage financial operations with global payout partners (e.g. Wise, Terrepay), optimize pricing strategy and routing logic; • Initiating new integration with global payout partners / banks and helping set the pricing scheme with BD team; • Develop reconciliation frameworks for agent channels, resolve discrepancies (e.g., FX rate gaps) through automated settlement systems. Budgeting & Performance • Lead annual budgeting and monthlly forecasting, analyze ROI deviations, and drive corrective actions; • Design KPI frameworks for business units, deliver monthly performance dashboards to executives; • Co-work with Mainland China team to performa the monthly closing & other booking/accounting issue.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance Operations to lead and manage the finance function of a licensed lending entity in Malaysia, with a strong emphasis on Islamic financing structures. You will be supporting the CEO in spearheading the growth, development, and strategic direction of our business. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with significant experience in a leadership role. This role requires strategic thinking and communication skills, as the Head of Finance collaborates closely with senior leadership within the organisation. The candidate should be able to perform and manage the following tasks independently while possessing a passion for innovation and a keen understanding of the evolving fintech landscape: 1. Finance Operations & Controls • Oversee the day-to-day finance operations, including AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations, treasury, and financial control. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and BNM regulatory requirements. • Lead the implementation of robust financial controls and operational processes to support business growth and compliance. 2. Islamic Finance Expertise • Ensure all finance-related practices for Islamic products comply with Shariah principles, relevant BNM guidelines (e.g., BNM’s Shariah Governance Framework), and internal Shariah committee rulings. • Collaborate with Shariah advisors and internal stakeholders to support product structuring and execution for Islamic financing (e.g., Murabahah, Tawarruq, Ijarah, etc.). • Track and report on financial performance of Islamic vs. conventional lending portfolios. 3. Strategic Finance & Business Partnering • Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights that inform strategic and operational decision-making. • Support funding strategies, including Sukuk issuance or other Islamic financing instruments. • Assist in developing pricing models and cost structures for both conventional and Islamic lending products. 4. Regulatory, Audit & Tax • Ensure full compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Securities Commission (SC) reporting obligations. • Manage external and internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings. • Oversee tax planning and compliance, including Zakat obligations where applicable. 5. Systems, Automation & Reporting • Drive automation initiatives and integration of finance systems with core banking platforms. • Design and maintain financial dashboards and MIS reports for management and investors.
The position will be part of a growing and dynamic International Compliance team supporting Ant International’s business, in particular the provision of payments and financial services to corporate customers. The ideal candidate will be a confident individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and one who is able to demonstrate the ability to effectively and proactively exercise good judgment and partner with the business in a fast-paced environment. • Support Ant International business, working closely with the business team and the other risk teams including Regional Compliance, Legal, AML, Privacy and Risk Management colleagues in PRC and other international markets, to provide solid regulatory advice and solutions. • Work with Regional Compliance colleagues on applications for, and continuing maintenance of, payment institutions, payment systems, wallet and e-money licences, money transfer/ remittance licenses (where applicable) for corporate/SME businesses conducted by Ant International. • Serving as point of contact with internal business stakeholders, while work with regional Compliance and other risk colleagues in driving regulatory engagement for new/revised business initiatives. • Support the agenda of Ant International compliance function, including developing compliance policies and procedures, coordinating with other relevant teams in managing and responding to regulators in relation to AML/Sanctions compliance, data privacy, consumer protection, and providing compliance regulatory risk assessments and program implementation • Identify regulatory compliance risks, escalate potential regulatory and policy breaches and issues to Senior Management. • Conduct internal compliance training from time to time.
As a Product Manager, you will be partner with our Finance team. Your role involves designing and managing one or several finance-related systems. This position requires a profound understanding of business and financial processes and operations. You should be an analytical and agile problem solver who can collaborate with a large number of stakeholders to drive cross-functional teams toward a common goal. RESPONSIBILITIES ● Conduct market research to identify business challenges and customer needs in finance. ● Design and implement financial product strategies that align with the goals of the finance team and the company. ● Design new functionalities in the finance system such as financial reporting system, settlement (AR&AP) system, accounting system, tax system, treasury system etc. to support the finance team. ● Collaborate with global (especially Chinese) product managers and software engineers to ensure successful finance-related systems rollouts. ● Manage project plans and ensure timely delivery. ● Daily operations of finance-related systems.
