We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance Operations to lead and manage the finance function of a licensed lending entity in Malaysia, with a strong emphasis on Islamic financing structures. You will be supporting the CEO in spearheading the growth, development, and strategic direction of our business. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with significant experience in a leadership role. This role requires strategic thinking and communication skills, as the Head of Finance collaborates closely with senior leadership within the organisation. The candidate should be able to perform and manage the following tasks independently while possessing a passion for innovation and a keen understanding of the evolving fintech landscape: 1. Finance Operations & Controls • Oversee the day-to-day finance operations, including AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations, treasury, and financial control. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and BNM regulatory requirements. • Lead the implementation of robust financial controls and operational processes to support business growth and compliance. 2. Islamic Finance Expertise • Ensure all finance-related practices for Islamic products comply with Shariah principles, relevant BNM guidelines (e.g., BNM’s Shariah Governance Framework), and internal Shariah committee rulings. • Collaborate with Shariah advisors and internal stakeholders to support product structuring and execution for Islamic financing (e.g., Murabahah, Tawarruq, Ijarah, etc.). • Track and report on financial performance of Islamic vs. conventional lending portfolios. 3. Strategic Finance & Business Partnering • Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights that inform strategic and operational decision-making. • Support funding strategies, including Sukuk issuance or other Islamic financing instruments. • Assist in developing pricing models and cost structures for both conventional and Islamic lending products. 4. Regulatory, Audit & Tax • Ensure full compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Securities Commission (SC) reporting obligations. • Manage external and internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings. • Oversee tax planning and compliance, including Zakat obligations where applicable. 5. Systems, Automation & Reporting • Drive automation initiatives and integration of finance systems with core banking platforms. • Design and maintain financial dashboards and MIS reports for management and investors.
We are seeking a lead Privacy Counsel to support Ant International’s growing Alipay+, Antom and Bettr business. Looking for a tech-savvy privacy lawyer who is passionate about data and eager to work on innovative issues in the fintech space and knowledgeable and experienced in China's Personal Information Protection Law. You are a business enabler. You will work closely with product and tech team, business development personnel, risk management and other legal/compliance/AML professional, and provide strategic advice to enable business growth and innovation in a privacy compliant manner. You are an effective DPO. You will establish, implement, and maintain privacy governance framework for the relevant business line and ensure compliance with applicable data privacy law and regulations. Responsibilities: Privacy Advisory: ● Provide privacy support to new product launches and initiatives in China and collaborate with APAC team for APAC initiatives. ● Analyze products, policies and initiatives to provide practical risk assessment and solution. ● Drive and implement privacy by design, understand the tech and product, and translate privacy principles into actionable product features. ● Support legal team in contract drafting and negotiation for privacy related issues. Privacy Compliance/DPO responsibilities: ● Drive and implement China’s PIPL compliance for the relevant entities as well as other applicable data privacy laws and regulations ● Monitor changes and updates in privacy legislation and advise on potential impacts to the relevant business lines.
CDD/KYC Execution & Governance ● Lead End-to-End CDD/KYC Processes: Oversee the comprehensive Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes for merchants and clients, ensuring strict adherence to Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standards and local Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) regulations. ● Dynamic Customer Risk Profiling: Conduct thorough risk assessments, including detailed entity structure analysis, Ultimate Beneficial Owner verification, and validation of key documents such as certificates of incorporation and proof of ownership. ● Compliance Documentation and Remediation: Proactively identify and address gaps in compliance documentation, driving remediation actions to maintain audit-ready records. Process Innovation & Cross-functional Collaboration ● Collaborative Workflow Redesign: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Risk and Product, to redesign CDD/KYC workflows using data-driven insights, thereby resolving bottlenecks and enhancing approval rates. ● Process Automation Initiatives: Champion the implementation of process automation to reduce manual workload and improve operational efficiency. ● Training and Development: Design and deliver targeted training programs for frontline teams on emerging regulatory requirements and risk escalation protocols. Proactive Risk Intelligence & Strategic Advisory ● Risk Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor daily operations to detect emerging risk patterns, initiating deep-dive reviews for high-risk segments. ● Predictive Analytics and Reporting: Develop predictive dashboards to inform management decisions, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate operational vulnerabilities.

Drive and implement sustainable processes to ensure seamless FX trading execution with banks and financial institutions. 3. Partner with tech team to implement and enhance FX systems and tools, ensuring smooth execution and automation of transactions. 4. Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify potential FX and liquidity risk, develop strategies to mitigate or minimize these risks effectively. 5. Collaborate with Product and Tech team to develop and adhere to an effective control framework that fully meets Audit, Compliance and Regulatory requirements; i.e. delivery of periodic presentations to external regulators. 6. Shape and build standardized and sustainable operational workflow and service standards for newly launched product/production variations. 7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (i.e. Business, Technology, Finance/PCG, Operations), ensuring seamless communication and understanding of FX requirements. 8. High level of focus on digitization, automation and elimination of manual touch points (MTP).· 9. Cultivate a robust service and control environment.
