As the Business Development Lead for Alipay+ in Malaysia, you will be the driving force behind the expansion of our digital payment and business solutions. You will own the full business development lifecycle, from identifying new opportunities and building strategic partnerships to managing key accounts and executing go-to-market plans. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of the payments, e-commerce, and digital solutions landscape in Malaysia. What You’ll Do: Lead Strategic Growth: Drive the adoption of Alipay+ digital payment and digitalization solutions across Malaysia. Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities with a focus on increasing sales volume and merchant adoption. Build Key Partnerships: Identify, onboard, and manage strategic partners, including independent software vendors (ISVs), banks, non-bank acquirers, and marketing partners, to expand the Alipay+ acceptance network and drive business growth. Manage Key Accounts: Serve as the primary account manager for our most important merchants. Develop and execute creative strategies to deepen relationships and increase the usage of Alipay+ solutions. Drive Sales and Execution: Lead the end-to-end sales process, including responding to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs. Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to potential partners and key accounts. Collaborate and Connect: Work closely with cross-functional teams in Singapore and China, aligning on business goals and market strategies. You will also be the main point of contact for local businesses and government agencies. Market and Promote: Support local marketing and public relations initiatives to enhance the Alipay+ brand and visibility. Coordinate sales activities with marketing campaigns to maximize their effectiveness. Analyze and Optimize: Track and report on key business metrics weekly and monthly. Use data to inform business strategy, identify new opportunities, and solve challenges.

As the Business Development Manager for Strategic Products, you will be the driving force behind our innovative solutions, acting as the bridge between clients and internal teams. You will own the end-to-end business relationship, from initial pitch to implementation and ongoing operations, while ensuring alignment with market needs and product evolution. Business Development & Client Engagement • Lead end-to-end client engagement, from pitching innovative solutions to overseeing product implementation and after-sales support. • Develop compelling pitch decks, tailored product proposals, and standardized implementation materials. • Adapt product solutions to local market demands and provide actionable feedback to enhance offerings. Project Management & Delivery Excellence • Serve as the project manager, defining clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables. • Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, tech, operations) to ensure seamless execution. • Implement structured reporting (e.g., weekly updates), proactively identify risks, and resolve bottlenecks. Strategic Contract Negotiation • Lead end-to-end deal structuring, including pricing, SLAs, and risk mitigation, while aligning internal stakeholders (Legal, Product, Finance). • Drive client-facing negotiations with a partnership mindset, balancing commercial flexibility with compliance (e.g., data security, regulatory requirements). • Own contract lifecycle management, from drafting and redlining to execution, amendments, and renewal discussions. Stakeholder Communication • Deliver engaging presentations, product demos, and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders. • Translate technical details into business value, fostering client confidence and internal alignment.

- Business expansion and supply acquisition efforts in Southeast Asia, starting with Malaysia - Familiar with Sneaker prices and trends in local markets and the supply source/ flow - Contribute and maintain Social media channels for use of supply acquisition - Collaboration with cross functional departments on promotional and marketing activities - Conduct weekly data analysis on the sales and inventory of each category/ brand/ SKU's, forecast and optimize sales, drive the matching of product supply and sales; - Daily business metrics monitoring and communication of vendors, data analysis, coordination of marketing activity resources, price negotiation, and driving vendors to achieve revenue growth; - Cultivate the growth of vendors through systematic methods such as products preparation/ platform understanding/ training, and maximize the capabilities of vendors - Target, plan, strategize supply acquisition based on buy side demand of brands and categories - Weekly/ Monthly/ Quarterly/ Annual Business Reviews to formulate strategy of the business - Sellers' daily order fulfillment performance follow-up and problem solving - Achieve targets as assigned
Responsible for global merchant channel onboarding / registration operations supporting the lines of business: Antom (a leading provider of payment processing services to merchants worldwide via one-stop digital payment solutions) & Alipay+ (a suite of cross-border digital payment and digitalization technology solutions connecting global brands with mobile-savvy consumers worldwide) What you’ll do: • Work closely with stakeholders of Risk Management, Business Development, Account Manager, FI (Financial Institution) business, supporting the merchants’ registration and onboarding operations which is a very key business process before business go-live. Be the first point of contact for every merchant onboarding matter and closely work with various stakeholder teams to resolve any questions or issues from the merchant & business. • Be an internal product advocate, track product processes and contribute to the platform feedback and issues you get back from the merchants and lead the optimization on the operational product and process. • Manage all your daily operational work/projects productively within the agreed SLAs, adhere to the KYB/KYC requirements/guidelines and keep updating the best practices, leading the product and process optimization, driving better and more efficient onboarding experience. • Responsible for cross-functional collaboration with payment channel teams and risk control teams to ensure real-time onboarding requirement synchronization. Key duties include maintaining version-controlled SOP (standard operational process) documentation internally, conducting quality assurance including bi-weekly quality check/mitigation plan & daily case review. • Establish and maintain effective relationships within the all the stakeholders. • Communicate with payment channels via phone, email - where needed - to facilitate to provide a great onboarding experience from operational perspective.
