Warehouse Operations Oversight - Monitor and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment, storage, and distribution. - Track key delivery performance indicators, analyze data to identify bottlenecks, and develop actionable improvement plans. - Ensure all operational initiatives are implemented effectively and progress is tracked systematically. 2. Process Optimization - Lead the continuous enhancement of warehouse processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. - Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensure compliance across all warehouse functions. - Identify automation or system improvement opportunities to support operational excellence. 3. Logistics and Supplier Management - Manage day-to-day coordination with logistics partners and 3PL providers, ensuring adherence to performance standards. - Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategies for cost efficiency and service quality improvement. - Participate in vendor selection, bidding, and performance review processes. 4. Lean Logistics Planning - Drive lean logistics initiatives by analyzing current operations and designing optimized solutions for inbound, outbound, and inventory workflows. - Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance throughput and minimize waste. - Collaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into actionable logistics strategies. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration - Act as a liaison between internal teams (e.g., procurement, sales, and finance) and warehouse operations to ensure smooth coordination. - Support leadership in achieving cost, quality, and delivery objectives across the supply chain.
: As an Export Operations Specialist, • You'll manage daily export processes in collaboration with Logistics Service Providers and Ocean/Air Carriers, while proactively addressing operational exceptions for seamless origin operations. • You'll ensure strict compliance with Chinese Import/Export regulations throughout all operations. • You'll supervise the complete Ocean/Air freight cycle, including origin pickup, export documentation, warehouse operations, customs clearance, and delivery tracking. • You'll Support Amazon sellers as their main point of contact for Ocean/Air shipments, solve complex logistics challenges and handle escalations and recommend optimal shipping solutions based on seller needs and compliance requirements. • You'll work with global program and product teams to enable global product and program at origin. • You'll optimize procedures to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
The Role The Supplier Operations Support team within Tesla plays pivotal role in shaping and improving upper stream supply chain excellence and contributing to the company's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. Flawless and structured execution in the supply chain is crucial for efficient operations at Tesla's production facilities and ultimately enabling timely delivery of products to customers. As a Supplier Operations Specialist, you will need to ensure that suppliers provide accurate and timely advanced shipment notifications (ASNs), utilize approved packaging, compliant labels and consistent data, and adhere to Tesla's specifications throughout entire procure-to-pay process. Responsibility Manage a portfolio of suppliers, serving as the primary contact for questions and concerns related to shipment execution Develop process documentations and materials. Train and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they understand and comply with Tesla's requirements and standards Communicate with suppliers to root cause, resolve issues that impact Tesla’s operations efficiency and improve their ability to meet Tesla’s requirements. Location: Warehouse in Chicago, USA Hourly rate: $25/hr - $30/hr Position Overview: As an Office Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily administrative management of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and smooth operations. You will directly support the Warehouse Manager by handling tasks such as personnel recruitment, attendance management, procurement of supplies, equipment maintenance, and external coordination, providing solid logistical support to the warehouse team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding of temporary warehouse workers to ensure timely fulfillment of staffing needs. - Oversee the employee attendance system, including recording and reviewing working hours, and addressing attendance discrepancies and payroll-related matters. - Procure office supplies, warehouse materials, and equipment, maintain inventory records, and control procurement costs. - Coordinate regular maintenance, repairs, and updates of equipment to ensure proper functioning. - Serve as the primary point of contact for communication and coordination with external parties, such as government agencies, suppliers, and outsourcing labor companies, handling related documents and permits. - Assist with other administrative tasks, including document filing, meeting arrangements, and office environment maintenance.
