Position Title: Strategy Analyst Intern Duration: 3 months Location: Sao Paulo Responsibilities: Support the team in conducting market research and analysis to deliver data-driven insights that guide market strategy in Brazil. Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of strategic projects. Perform competitor analysis and monitor market trends to provide practical recommendations for company decision-making. Contribute to business model analysis and help optimize strategies for operational excellence in the local market.

Develop long and short term subsidy investment plans based on business objectives and coordinate subsidy strategies to ensure plan implementation; 2. Build an efficiency evaluation mechanism for customer acquisition, optimize resource allocation, and drive business strategy iteration; 3. Analyze user transaction behavior, gain insight into the impact of different subsidy tools/promotions on order growth, optimize subsidy allocation, and drive business strategy iteration; 4. Responsible for efficiency evaluation of various resource projects, monitor the potential of new tools, and identify opportunities for efficient investment; 5. Participate in goal setting, experimental design, process monitoring, efficiency and performance evaluation of key subsidy projects to ensure project implementation as planned.
1) Analyze and formulate expansion and operation plans for Brazil, addressing key supply-side issues of concern to management, and collaborate with relevant teams to align understanding and strategies. 2) Conduct in-depth market research to establish a comprehensive understanding of the local market, enabling the business to assess the current state of restaurant supply in new markets (e.g., quantity, structure, profit/loss) and identify business opportunities. 3) Address other supply-side challenges, conduct targeted thematic analysis, and provide data-driven strategy support for business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities ꔷ Market Leadership & Strategy Own and drive Alibaba.com’s growth strategy in Brazil across supplier acquisition, activation, and export readiness. Analyze local market trends, competitor dynamics, and policy changes to inform business decisions. ꔷ Team & Organizational Leadership Build and lead high-performing local teams across business development, marketing, customer success, and operations. Establish a strong performance culture and ensure alignment with Alibaba’s global goals and values. ꔷ Business Development & Partnerships Identify and develop key industry verticals and top-tier Brazilian exporters (SMEs and large manufacturers). Forge partnerships with industry associations, export agencies, and logistics/fintech partners to build a strong ecosystem. ꔷ P&L & Performance Management Own Brazil’s P&L responsibility, including growth targets, sales metrics, user acquisition, and retention KPIs. Implement data-driven management practices to track performance and optimize ROI. ꔷ Cross-functional Collaboration Act as the bridge between Brazil and HQ teams in China and other regions, ensuring seamless communication and alignment. Provide market insights and feedback to help shape product localization and platform optimization.
