Position Title: Strategy Analyst Intern Location: Sao Paulo Responsibilities: 1.Support the team in conducting market research and analysis to deliver data-driven insights that guide market strategy in Brazil. 2.Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of strategic projects. 3.Perform competitor analysis and monitor market trends to provide practical recommendations for company decision-making. 4.Contribute to business model analysis and help optimize strategies for operational excellence in the local market.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee the logistics and customs clearance processes of platform products from China to Brazil, ensuring compliance with Brazilian laws and regulations. 2. Coordinate relationships with Brazilian customs, logistics providers, and government agencies to enhance clearance quality and efficiency. 3. Track changes in customs policies and regulations in the Brazilian market to ensure compliance and forward-thinking business operations. 4. Address issues in cross-border e-commerce clearance operations such as inspections, timeliness, customer complaints, and key processes. 5. Develop and execute strategies to optimize tariffs and logistics costs, improving AliExpress's competitiveness in the Brazilian market. 6. Key Responsibilities ꔷ Market Leadership & Strategy Own and drive Alibaba.com’s growth strategy in Brazil across supplier acquisition, activation, and export readiness. Analyze local market trends, competitor dynamics, and policy changes to inform business decisions. ꔷ Team & Organizational Leadership Build and lead high-performing local teams across business development, marketing, customer success, and operations. Establish a strong performance culture and ensure alignment with Alibaba’s global goals and values. ꔷ Business Development & Partnerships Identify and develop key industry verticals and top-tier Brazilian exporters (SMEs and large manufacturers). Forge partnerships with industry associations, export agencies, and logistics/fintech partners to build a strong ecosystem. ꔷ P&L & Performance Management Own Brazil’s P&L responsibility, including growth targets, sales metrics, user acquisition, and retention KPIs. Implement data-driven management practices to track performance and optimize ROI. ꔷ Cross-functional Collaboration Act as the bridge between Brazil and HQ teams in China and other regions, ensuring seamless communication and alignment. Alibaba International Digital Commerce is looking for a Business Operations & Partnerships, Manager/ Senior Manager to drive the adoption and growth of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) product. As part of the Alibaba International Digital Commercial Digital Credit Team, you will be responsible for the continued business growth of BNPL and the main person in charge in the markets. This position is based in Hangzhou, China. • Manage the entire chain of business operations from product development plans, campaign management, marketing and partnership collaboration with internal stakeholders with cross function teams such as product, technology, legal, finance, compliance, marketing, credit risk and customer service within Aliexpress. • Work with our partner(s) to drive the adoption and growth of BNPL in Mexico and Brazil with good understanding of the fintech/ lending scenes regionally or globally. • Contribute and influence the product roadmap together with our product development and technology team to improve overall user experience, develop product features and product operational tools to improve the overall product user conversions and experience. • A data expert with the ability to analyse and report key business metrics that will have a strong influence on business decisions. • Deep understanding of marketing conversation funnel and user behaviour metrics with the ability to analyse current user retention, traffic to create meaningful and impactful campaigns to educate and convert Aliexpress BNPL users. • Role also entails day to day operation managements from external alignment and communications with partners, promotion campaigns management, UAT, product roadmap planning, reporting and budget management.
