Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Case Development: Lead market research and collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and develop operation strategic plans. Develop business cases, including project opportunity projections and campaign budgeting models. 2. Project Management: Lead insurance partnership delivery projects, coordinating with digital product, tech, internal corporate functional teams and partner teams. Develop and manage project timelines, operational initiatives, operate user growth campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals. Work with tech teams to integrate insurance products into digital platforms with all parties 3. Post-Launch Operations: Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback for improvements. Lead issue resolution and performance optimization post-launch. Govern monthly finance reconciliation and settlement processes with insurerance partners 4. User Growth & Marketing: Design and implement campaign strategies to attract and retain users through digital marketing campaigns. Analyze user behavior in data driven approach to enhance engagement and satisfaction.

The role LazPay is the payments and financial services arm of Lazada and is part of the Financial and Payment Business organization of Alibaba International Digital Commerce (AIDC). LazInsure is a growing business unit that focuses on providing embedded insurance solutions within AIDC's e-commerce platforms. We are looking for a customer centric and motivated individual to help with operations and insights to drive the best user experience for Lazada buyers who avail of our insurance products Key Tasks & Responsibilities - Leads the identification and development of business opportunities by doing market opportunity sizing and development of business cases; - Own end to end process of operating and launching insurance products for Lazada in the Philippines - Deliver sales of products, programs, and services through e-commerce platform embedded sales and other channels as measured by net revenue - Setup Customer Segmentation, Strategy, and Retention including insights and business intelligence with support of internal Business intelligence team; - Lead in driving the expansion of products and services through partnerships and vendor selection - Regularly monitor market and benchmark against competition, track regulatory landscape changes, as well as overall InsurTech developments locally and globally - Oversees communication with internal units regarding updates or changes to the products and manages key stakeholders within Alibaba International Digital Commerce - Manage relationships with insurance partners, assisting with the preparation of contractual agreements and ensure that these are fully adhered to as needed - Drive win-win negotiations between Lazada and insurance partners· Contribute to category performance management and deliver insights to senior management - Prepare for and assist with the implementation of regular campaigns and initiatives - Identify and champion product improvements - Any other duties that may be assigned
● Manage the financial and HKMA regulatory reporting process. ● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory financial statements. ● Ensure compliance with HKFRS, local GAAP, and group reporting standards. ● Supervise payment functions to guarantee timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. ● Collaborate with external auditors for the annual statutory audit and issuance of audited financial statements in accordance with HKFRS. ● Evaluate accounting impacts of new products and businesses from a unit controller perspective. ● Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and backed by appropriate documentation. ● Proactively investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies. ● Implement process enhancements and controls to strengthen reconciliation processes. ● Ensure accurate recording of intercompany transactions with complete supporting documentation. ● Identify opportunities for streamlining and automating recurring finance tasks (e.g., reconciliations, journal entries, reporting). ● Participate as a core member in finance system enhancements, and internal control improvements.
