Sortation Manager Job Summary: • The Sortation Manager will be responsible to manage the overall day-to-day Sortation operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Sortation Department. Ensure safe and efficient operations. • Ensure an End-to-End Sortation Processes are enforced, comply and report any deviations to Senior Sortation Manager. Reports directly to Senior Sortation Manager. Responsibilities: • Ensure continuous improvement in the operations through enforcing regional SOP & SOW & adopting best practices • Safeguards Sortation Centre and contents by establishing and monitoring all security procedures and protocols • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results and ensure KPIs are achieved collective team efforts • Coaching and developing staff to achieve higher levels of service, economies of scale and operational effectiveness • Collaborate with Route, Fleet, HUB and Support team to ensure best in class services
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): • Your main responsibility will be building long term strategic partnerships with international brands and sellers, and ensuring their success once onboarded. You will be expected to drive customer pitching; taking part in RFIs & RFQs, as well as developing tailored pricing for E2E supply chain solutions to drive successful sales conversions. • You will responsible for working with Lazada Regional platform team for joint BD and development commercial-logistics join programs to improve the competitiveness of Fulfilled-by-Lazada solution and increase overall stickiness of brands/sellers with Lazada • You will be responsible for closely monitoring the operational performance of our key strategic partners, conduct regular quarterly or monthly business reviews to optimise performance, and drive strategic road mapping as part of deepening the partnership. • You will be expected to contribute towards improving sales operations efficiencies by collaborating closely with local country teams to improve performance tracking and governance, sharing and implementation of best practices. Ultimately this should drive greater sales effectiveness and pipeline conversions regionally across our key markets in Southeast Asia.
• Coordinate with Commercial to perform logistics forecast planning activities on short-term and long-term forecast to support operational strategy. • Track and provide insights on planning accuracy against forecasted numbers, work for forecast accuracy improvement and feedback to stakeholders. • Responsible for parcel injection and depletion analysis on a daily basis, and Mega Campaigns for Logistics functions. • Perform data analysis and enhance data visibility through dashboard or autobots to improve forecasting model and optimize planning process. • Coordinate with stakeholders to conduct Cost Optimization Analysis Model. • Participate and support cross-functional projects where required. • Engage required local stakeholders from Lazada Logistics, Lazada and regional stakeholders.
